An introduction into the basic movement patterns through bodyweight, DB and KB exercises. Coupled with low level conditioning via a number of different CV machines. For members who are new to the gym environment. Beginner Level

The cornerstone of our class programme, where we adopt the S&C principles to form ‘OUR’ daily workout. We lift heavy, learn new skills and get out of breath across all different time domains. Beginner – Intermediate Level


A more advanced option than the Train programme, where the movements are more complex and the loading is greater. Intermediate – Advanced Level.


Exactly as it says on the tin, a class designed to keep you moving for 30 – 40 minutes utilising low level exercises and ALWAYS the CV machines – a good option for Engine Building. All Levels

Gym Workshops

Olympic Weightlifting Workshop

For those looking to dial in their technique on the big 2: The Snatch & The Clean and Jerk. The workshop heavily focuses on technique, breaking the movements down into positions and their derivatives which can assist with sticking points and technique flaws. Workshops are 6 weeks in duration, 2 classes a week, for a maximum of 6 personnel/workshop.

Fortitude Fundamentals

The workshop is designed to introduce individuals to the basic movement patterns we use throughout the class programme. In addition to familiarising you with the structure of a class; warm up, movement prep, the teaching of movement patterns, the conditioning element and cool down. Workshops are 6 weeks in duration, 2 classes a week, for a maximum of 6 personnel/workshop.

I’ve trained heavily in a variant of sports in the last 40 years. I’ve lifted heavy loads as a nurse and at one point in my life I was a Fitness Instructor where I completed a university sports injury course, which enabled me to oversee and deal with injuries in my own martial arts club.
